Hi, My name is Dr. Shampa Gangopadhyay. Everyone calls me Dr. G. or Mrs. G.
I have been at Village Charter academy for a few years, and I am currently teaching First Grade. I have a Master’s and a PhD in English Literature. After graduation, I taught undergraduate and graduate university students for almost three years. I also became an Affiliate and a Visiting Scholar at UCLA. After my son was born, I took a break from pursuing a career in teaching. He made me realize that I enjoy working with elementary school children. Now that he is in high school, I am reliving those wonderful moments through the kids at VCA. |

🎒7:30 – 8:00am – Staggered Arrival and Breakfast (served outside)
📚8:00am- School Begins ⛹️♂️9:30 – 9:50am – Recess (students will play outside) 🥡9:50 – 10:00am– Snack (Indoor) 🚰10:00-10:10am-Water & Bathroom Break 🍽11:30 – 12:15pm– Lunch 🚽12:15 – 12:30pm – Water & Bathroom 🚗3:00pm – Dismissal 📝3:00pm-5:15pm - Afterschool There is sports on Wednesday and music on Thursday! |
